VIVA
Aerial Dance
Our core production team has over 35 years of combined performance and show rigging experience, along with the technical knowledge and H&S capability to rig and perform in technically challenging venues and spaces.
Show Rigging
Viva supplies all aerial equipment, show rigging, safety and paging equipment necessary for performance. We welcome the opportunity to rig and perform in ‘new to aerial’ venues. We can also bring in a free-standing rig if preferred.
We supply, install and operate the Actsafe ACCII power ascender for solo and duo flying performance with aerial hoop, theatre flying, aerial waitressing and Floating Jellyfish. Remote control operation gives great operator location flexibility, ensuring line of sight with the performer is kept during the show.
Our show riggers are Level 3 IRATA technicians with Advanced Rigging and EWP High Risk Work Licences.
Logistics
During the event lead in, the Viva rigging team liaises with technical staff at the venue, carrying out a site visit if needed and preparing all H&S paperwork.
On the event, our in-house show rigging policy means we can also provide H&S and stage management support to our performers, paging away aerial equipment when not in use, so freeing up your event staff.
Public Liability Insurance
All Viva performers and show riggers hold public liability insurance for their activities.
Health and Safety
With our industry-specific H&S expertise and qualifications, we offer unique, self-contained aerial performance packages for your event. Darren Jenkins, our Operations Manager is a Graduate Member of IOSH and a member of the Australian Institute of Safety. Darren’s qualifications include IRATA Level 3, a High Risk Work Licence (CV,RA,WP) and an aerial industry-specific PGDip in OHS Management.
